By Air

If you plan to travel to the CF Running Cert by air, then you'll need to decide where you want to fly into.  Salisbury Regional Airport (SBY) is the closest airport.  US Airways is the only carrier that operates out of Salisbury.  From Salisbury, you're only a 20 to 25 minute drive from Ocean City.

If your travel plans, airfare, etc. don't work for travel into Salisbury, then you can fly into Baltimore (BWI), Washington-Reagan (DCA), Philadelphia (PHL), or even Norfolk (ORF).  From any of these airports, you'll have about a 2 1/2 hour drive to Ocean City.  The drive isn't bad if you decide to go into one of these larger airports.

By Car

If you're coming in to Ocean City for the Running Cert and you're driving, here are some directions to the Francis Scott Key Hotel where out of towners can reserve a room.

Depending upon where you're coming from, follow these directions:

FROM POINTS WEST (i.e. DC, Baltimore):  Take Rt 50/301 Eastbound over the Bay Bridge.  301 and 50 split after Kent Island, so bear to the right and stay on Rt 50 towards Easton, Cambridge, Salisbury, and Ocean City.  Driving time from the Bay Bridge runs just under two hours.  The Francis Scott Key Hotel is located in West Ocean City on the right (across from the White Marlin Mall), just before you go over the bridge into Ocean City proper.

FROM POINTS NORTH (i.e. Delaware, Philly):  Take Rt 13 South to Rt 113 South to Rt 50 East into Ocean City.  The Francis Scott Key Hotel is located in West Ocean City on the right (across from the White Marlin Mall), just before you go over the bridge into Ocean City proper.

FROM POINTS SOUTH (i.e. Lower Eastern Shore, Norfolk, Greater Tidewater Area):  Take Rt 13 North across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.  Stay on Rt 13 North until you get into Pokomoke, where you'll take a right onto Rt 113 North.  Exit Rt 113 North onto Rt 50 East into Ocean City.  The Francis Scott Key Hotel is located in West Ocean City on the right (across from the White Marlin Mall), just before you go over the bridge into Ocean City proper.
